There is always something lovely about being at home.. life curves into a slow motion pace, and I get the luxury of being able to steal a brief slice of time to breathe a little and just slip into a more deliberate stride. In crazy months like these, I treasure these moments no matter how brief.
I sank comfortably into the studio's couch this afternoon, hung my legs over the arms of the chair and sipped my guava vodka cruiser fringed with just the right amount of chill from the refrigerator. My mind flicked through new new years resolutions, and thought back on 2009 and how amazing it had been. In so many ways it was life changing, humbling, and growing. I'm sure at some point in this insane January I will probably dapple the thoughts down and rehash all the details... or maybe I wont... who knows. I think I'm going to embrance spontenaity more this year, and soak in all the good moments like I needed them as much as air :) Be on the look out for a LOT of changes and big things happening in the next 12 months. I'm excited about them as we dive into the planning stages! :D
Anyhow, summer has been strangely pleasant amongst the recurring heatwaves and occasional oddly placed overcast weather. For one, I've had a chance to play a little more with my polaroid cameras, and enjoy some of my favourite things this season. Have a look what has put a smile on my face recently.... ! :D
