To those that know me, know I love fashion/fashion photography... and I love wedding photography. But I have never believed in mixing the two together as I hold a firm belief that wedding photos should reflect the core things that make a marriage, and the mystery of love so beautiful. It's why I love my wedding photos to look happy, natural, and carry forth a sense of real, raw, down to earth love and joy :)
So, when photographer and friend, Jonathan Dear, threw across the idea of doing a session where we could play with bridal and fashion, for the sake of fun and creativity, I was super excited! :) We shot on an unbelievably cold day, where the winds were so strong they were literally swaying my car left and right as I was driving to the location but I the results made me happy regardless :) There were way too many photos from the session to fit into 1 post, so I'm splitting up the set into two blog entries - yay for you guys, cos it means I'll have to post again tomorrow! :D
For now, enjoy the fruits of what happens when photographers get together for the sake of creativity :) Some shots I've purposely left unsharpened for a more film and organic feel :)
Thank you to Pin Me Up Couture, for the gorgeous hairpiece!!, to Margo from Ethix Makeup for the beautiful beautiful work you did on our girls. Thank you Jonathan for letting me play (i love your beautiful 'light enhancers' hahaha :D)! I can't wait til we do this again! :D And for those reading, do check out his blog for more photos and the rest of his work - its really lovely stuff which you are totally missing out on if you don't click his blog link above!! :D
