Anyhow, I met this couple last year through a friend, and it was a real pleasure to fly back home (Sydney) to shoot their wedding. While the day was a scorching 35 degrees celcius (yes, to the Malaysians reading this entry, alot of you are thinking - thats a normal weather day for me! Do understand that Australia is a temperate country and normal days there are only 20+ degrees celcius). Despite the heat, sweat, and constant desire for water during the day, the day had clear blue skies, and Sydney scenery is gorgeous as always.
What turned out was a very personal, beautiful event, and it was a lovely experience to be able to document the day. There was a warmth throughout the whole wedding that is always so wonderful to witness...it really reflects on the closeness of the relationships that you have with your guests on the big day. And for Mitch and Tanya, I could really tell they had a tight-knit family.
